ABOUT BRITTANI
Brittani Williams was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, where she currently resides. She began writing when a school assignment required her to write a short play. This assignment showed her how far her imagination could go and it also helped her escape the drama of an unhealthy and abusive relationship between her mother and stepfather. With writing only being a hobby Brittani grew into an adult and attended a few different colleges. Writing still stayed a hobby but she strived for a degree, unfortunately she could never settle on one that fit her interests. 94 college credits later, she’s taken Nursing Prerequisites, Education classes, Paralegal Studies and Fashion Design Majors and still had yet to find what she loved. After much encouragement from family, friends and co-worker alike Brittani, now a single mother focused on writing again while on a break from school. She completed her first manuscript in 2005 which was titled Automatic Princess. After months of research she found a publishing company that she wanted to submit to. She submitted the manuscript and received a quick response. Within four months she had signing a two book contract with Q-boro books, a publisher in Queens NY. The last four years have definitely been a blessing for Brittani with the release of Daddy’s Little Girl and tons of great feedback from readers all over. She has had the opportunity to participate in two anthology projects Fantasy (Urban Lifestyle Press) and Flexin’ & Sexin’ (Life Changing Books) with some of the hottest authors in the game. With the release of Sugar Walls, her sophomore novel she had four projects in circulation, all released in the same year. In 2008, she came back even stronger with The Cathouse, a novel that she co-wrote with authors Anna J and Laurinda D. Brown. In December 2008 Black Diamond, her third novel was released on Urban books with a sequel Black Diamond 2: Nicety Released in May 2010. She recently signed a 3-book deal with her publisher Urban Books for Cover Girl, Black Diamond 3 and an untitled 3rd book. In addition to those she’s released a series of short stories on E-Book, FeVah: An Erotic Short, Episodes of a Party Girl Volumes 1 & 2, and Bad Choices: A Teen Short. She is also working on a novel, Man Down, which will be published in a magazine that ships to prisons.Her next venture is growing her publishing company, Trendsetters Publications, a Philadelphia based company that will publish fiction novels in the genres of Urban, Erotica and Contemporary. The company will release four novels at the end of 2011, two of which are the first two installments in a teen series written by Brittani called The Pretty Committee. The series will focus on many issues that teens of today experience and will be able to capture those that have moved on to adult books without them feeling like the books are for children. With this teen series, she plans to do a school tour and also plans to start up a creative writing scholarship for her Alma matter, Dobbins Vocational High School, in Philadelphia. In addition to all of these things the ink is almost dry on her non-profit organization, which will launch in 2011. In June 2010, Brittani made her directorial debut with the stage play adaptation of her best selling novel Black Diamond, which she also wrote and produced. She is currently working on the script for another one of her novels Sugar Walls and an urban gospel play titled Shattered: His Lies, Their Lives. This busy body, still under the age of thirty has braded her self, making her a force to be reckoned with. For 2011 she is going out on a huge promotional tour, including book signings, radio interviews, schools, book clubs and more.

The Youth Empowerment Campaign
For Immediate Release:National Best Selling Author Brittani Williams steps out with a campaign, which will educate and empower endangered youth while preparing them for healthy futures. Philadelphia, PA – Brittani Williams, the national best selling author of Daddy’s Little Girl, Black Diamond 1 & 2 and the forthcoming novel Cover Girl presents Bad Choices the campaign featuring the E-Book Short, Film, Documentary and High School Tour. Best known for her twists and turns she successfully follows this same formula providing teens with stories that they love without the adult content of other urban fiction novels. The focus of the Bad Choices Campaign entertains while exploring the causes and effects of many social issues. The goal of the E-Book and Film is to educate and empower our endangered youth. In a joint effort TSP Presents Productions, Trendsetters Publications and The Pretty Committee Foundation, all founded by Brittani Williams, will participate in numerous events. With the E-Book and Film portion you will watch a group of teens struggle to get their lives back on track after a series of events threaten to destroy the world as they know it. Facing adversity and misfortune daily with social issues including date rape, teen pregnancy, suicide, drug abuse, domestic violence, Internet pedophiles and more. Each story crashes into one another at a jaw-dropping ending. The documentary portion of this campaign will show the stories of real teenagers who have experienced some of these same situations. It will also include commentary from educational and medical professionals. Bad Choices will brilliantly show statistics and methods of conflict resolution education for both teens and adults alike. Almost everyday we see or hear stories of teens that are placed into adult situations which teens aren’t physically or mentally equipped to handle. We then form our own opinions of these teens without looking more in depth at the causes of them or the choices that were made by the adults closest to them. For any change to occur it is important that we teach our teens about the consequences of making bad choices without preaching to them or boring them but instead entertaining and educating them at the same time. The Stage Play, A Huge Success!

In June 2010, Brittani Williams, along with three local promoters debuted Black Diamond the stage play in Philadelphia at the Levitt Auditorium right in the center of the Avenue of the Arts. With over 700 in attendance the stage play received tons of praise for it's unique storyline, original music compositions and characters.

In the fall of 2010 Brittani re-wrote the script and is now working on returning the stage play to Philadelphia as well as following up with a tour.
